Volunteer

By engaging participants in on the water activities, HRP has been successful in bringing diverse interests in water ecology to the table. River clean ups, education programs, support for recreation and restoration projects involve citizens in river stewardship and sustainable education in a tangible way, connecting them to rivers and streams and giving them a stake in the health of local streams.

Events

Join us for the Big Muddy Speaker Series at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the KICK theater in Westport. Enter through Westport Coffee House or Green Room Burgers.

The Big Muddy Speaker Series is a free monthly series of presentations on Missouri River ecology, history, biology and more by experts in their fields.

HRP programs help citizens connect with nature and restore native habitat where they live by providing hands on, community based education efforts. We invest resources for programs that promote best practices in watershed protection and communicate to citizens the relationship between water quality and quantity and healthy fish, forests, and wildlife.
